While dragging, the arrow keys nudge, and with Shift it is a whole octave or a whole bar[/] change the instrument, M mutes, H shows or hides the score on the roll, and adding Shift means “this one only”. M is for your ears, H for your eyes@28) and Bass (@29) added: pick them from the instrument dropdowno8: the roll has four more rows at the top and the highest note is o8d+. Scores that wrote o8 used to be clamped back to o7b and are now read as written — the four notes of the game’s top octave are backSymptom: pressing Transpose (especially "All tracks") on a piece containing a Drum set score looked completely normal and still played on the site, but after pasting into the game the drums were gone entirely.
Cause: for percussion the pitch is not a pitch but a pad number. Drum set has only 15 keys, and adding or subtracting semitones lands on positions with no key — the game has no such note, so nothing sounds.
Fix: Drum set scores no longer offer transposition (the button is greyed out and says why), and "All tracks" now skips them and tells you how many it skipped. Transposition for every other instrument is unchanged.
Symptom: once the sign-in credential stopped being valid (closing the browser, or the credential expiring), signing in again lost the score you were editing.
Fix: two safety nets at once.
Handling for the sharing features when a credential expires was added at the same time, so there are no more failures without an explanation.
This version replaced the whole score model: one tab = one player complete score, instead of one tab per track.

MML is plain text. Use the clipboard to move it between the game's Blank Score and here.
Copying strips whitespace — that is what the game counts.
“Create New” starts a brand new file: score count, names, instruments and the file name all go back to default; key signature and line-wrap settings are kept. Ctrl+Z undoes it.
Voices in the file that contain notes are listed for you to tick, up to 16 scores. Importing replaces the contents of every score.
OMR by Audiveris. Up to about 90% accurate — you will still need to fix notes by hand.
Clears the notes only — instruments, score names and the file name are all kept. To reset the whole line-up too, use “New” at the top. Ctrl+Z undoes it.
If you have a PDF, upload the PDF — it is recognised in one pass. With images, one piece is a stack of images and top-left to bottom-right is the page order; scan at 300 DPI or higher, a phone snapshot is noticeably worse.
No files yet.
Drag the thumbnails to reorder — this is the page order, and getting it wrong ruins the whole piece. Recognition takes tens of seconds to a few minutes; don't close this while it runs.

This entry will be replaced by what is in the editor now, and that cannot be undone (Ctrl+Z covers the editor, not saved files). The creation time is kept.
Once deleted, they cannot be recovered. To keep a copy, use “Download batch” to save them as .mmi first.
Overwriting cannot be undone. If unsure, choose “Copy the rest” and rename the clashing ones first.
In preview, score 16 shares score 1's position (the export is correct)

Default instrument: new scores start with this instrument selected, including clipboard pastes and MIDI imports. A score that names its own instrument wins.
Hide: removes an instrument from the instrument dropdown. If a shared or imported score uses a hidden instrument, it still shows up (marked “hidden”).
This cannot be undone.Links you have shared stop working immediately, and anyone opening one will see “not found”.
If the character count is still too high, the options below trade note length for characters while never changing any note's start time and never changing the rhythm. This changes note lengths but not the overall rhythm or melody.

This last one discards everything in the target track within the range, including the source's rests.
